Endoscopy at the World Congress in Los Angeles

The International Congress of Endoscopy (ICE) will be held in Los Angeles, California, USA, September 10-14, 2011, under the auspices of the OMED.

Exciting and innovative Live and Video Plenary Session and Post-graduate courses will be held during the entire time of the meetings. Special emphasis will be directed toward new and advanced therapeutic techniques including the combined medical and surgical planned update of NOTES.

The Scientific program will include the full representation of endoscopic topics. Honorary lectures will be delivered.

An exciting medical and surgical endoscopic learning center as well as hands on learning sessions will be provided.

The excellence of the academic program is to be complimented by extensive high quality exhibitions provided by the industry. The instrument manufacturers will display the latest in advanced endoscopes, accessory equipment and emerging technological advances. Industry constructed Endoscopic theaters with break and lunchtime hands-on and video procedures of endoscopic techniques are encouraged. The attendees will have the opportunity of discussing the cases directly with the faculty that perform the presentations.

Finally the social environment of exciting Los Angeles, and the Congress social activities will serve to bring the attendees and their families together in an atmosphere of fellowship. Many new friends will be made, crossing the medical and surgical boundaries and old friendships renewed. A Young Clinicians Program will be developed to provide an in depth understanding of endoscopy through the association of contemporaries from around the world.
